Swiss Steak - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 round steak
1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
3 tsp. corn oil
1 can stewed tomatoes
1/2 c. chopped celery
1/2 c. chopped carrots
2 Tbsp. chopped onion
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 c. shredded cheese
Preparation

Cut meat in 4 or 5 equal portions.
Combine flour and salt; pound meat to tender.
Flour both sides of meat (save remaining flour).
Brown meat in hot oil.
Put browned meat into baking dish.
Blend remaining flour into pan drippings in skillet.
Add tomatoes, celery, carrots, onion and Worcestershire to drippings. Cook; stir constantly, until mix boils.
Pour over meat.
