Ingredients

2 c. flour, sifted
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt (optional)
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. margarine or butter, melted
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
2 c. rolled quick oatmeal
1 tsp. vanilla
1 large pkg. chocolate chips
Preparation

Mix sugars and butter well.
Add eggs; mix.
Add flour mixtures, oatmeal, vanilla and chips.
Drop by teaspoonfuls.
Bake at 350\u00b0 approximately 12 minutes.
