Ingredients

1 1/4 c. milk (warm)
1/4 c. lard
3/4 c. sugar
4 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. allspice
1 Tbsp. yeast
3 eggs
Preparation

Put eggs in a bowl and beat well.
Add sugar, lard, salt, allspice and warm milk.
Add yeast, then flour.
Let rise until double.
Roll out and cut.
Let rise again until about double. Then bake in very hot lard.
