New England Brown Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    2 c. whole wheat flour
    2 c. buttermilk
    1/2 c. dark molasses
    1 c. raisins
Preparation
    In large bowl, combine all-purpose flour, soda and salt.
    In another bowl, combine whole wheat flour, buttermilk and molasses. Add to flour mixture and mix well.
    Stir in raisins.
    Pour into well-greased coffee cans, 5 1/4 x 3 3/4-inch.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes or until bread tests done.
    Yields 2 cans.
