Lee'S Caramel Popcorn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 qt. popped popcorn
    1 c. brown sugar, packed
    1/2 c. margarine
    1/2 c. Karo (white or dark, your choice)
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. soda
    peanuts (optional)
Preparation
    Cook on medium heat, the sugar, margarine, syrup and salt until boils, stirring.
    Cook 5 minutes without stirring.
    Add soda and vanilla.
    Pour over popcorn and nuts and coat well.
    Place in shallow pans and cook, uncovered, for 1 hour at 250\u00b0, stirring occasionally.
    Store in covered containers.
