Angel Flake Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pkg. yeast
1/2 c. water
5 c. flour
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1 egg
3 Tbsp. sugar
1 Tbsp. baking powder
3/4 c. shortening
2 c. buttermilk (I usually use the dry buttermilk mix)
Preparation

Soak yeast in water.
Mix dry ingredients together. Cut in shortening.
Add yeast, egg and buttermilk and mix well. Put in greased bowl and refrigerate.
Roll out on well-floured board and cut biscuits.
(The dough will be very sticky.)
Let rise. Bake at 450\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes. Will keep in covered bowl for 1 week in the refrigerator.
