Quiche Lorraine - cooking recipe
Ingredients

pastry shell, baked 5 minutes at 450~
1 1/2 c. grated Swiss cheese
1 Tbsp. flour
1/2 lb. bacon
1 large onion, chopped
3 eggs
3/4 c. milk
1/2 tsp. salt
generous dash of nutmeg
Preparation

Mix cheese and flour.
Fry bacon until crisp, then drain and cut into small pieces.
Beat eggs lightly; add milk and seasonings.
Use 1 cup milk if the pastry shell is large.
Pour into shell.
Jiggle pan to settle liquid.
Bake at 450\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
Reduce heat to 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes longer or until custard sets.
Cool 10 minutes before cutting.
