Green Tomato Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (9-inch) double pie crust
    1 1/2 lb. green tomatoes (3 1/2 c., sliced)
    1 1/2 tsp. grated lemon rind
    1/2 tsp. lemon juice
    1 Tbsp. cider vinegar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/3 to 1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. raisins
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. ginger
    1 Tbsp. bread crumbs
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
Preparation
    Wash tomatoes; cut into quarters and slice very thin.
    Stir in raisins, lemon juice, rind, vinegar and salt.
    Blend flour with sugar and spices.
    Sprinkle crumbs evenly over bottom of pastry lined pan.
    Add 2 tablespoons of sugar mixture.
    Fold rest of sugar mixture into tomatoes and flour in pan.
    Dot with butter. Cover with top crust.
    Bake for 15 minutes at 425\u00b0.
    Reduce heat to 325\u00b0 and bake 50 minutes longer.
