Butterflake Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. yeast
    1/4 c. warm water
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. warm water
    3 eggs, beaten
    4 1/2 c. flour (plain) and unbleached
    2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Dissolve
    yeast in 1/4 cup warm water.\tCream sugar and shortening.
    Add
    water,
    eggs
    and
    yeast.
    Stir in flour and salt.
    Let\tstand
    in
    refrigerator overnight.
    Roll out thin, like
    jelly roll.
    Spread with melted butter and roll up.
    Cut roll
    in
    1 1/2-inch pieces.
    Dip in butter and place buttered side
    up in muffin tins.
    Let rise 3 hours.
    Bake in 400\u00b0 oven for 12 minutes.
    Makes 2 dozen.
