Favorite Corn Dogs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. self-rising flour
    1/4 c. self-rising corn meal
    2 Tbsp. minced onion
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. dry mustard
    1/2 c. milk
    1 egg, beaten
    1 lb. frankfurters
    oil for deep frying
Preparation
    Combine
    flour,
    meal, onion, sugar and mustard in bowl. Mix milk and egg in a small bowl.
    Stir into corn meal mixture. Pat frankfurters dry; insert popsicle stick in each.
    Dip into batter. Deep fry
    in
    350\u00b0
    to
    400\u00b0 oil for 2 to 3 minutes or until brown, turning once;
    drain on paper towels.
