Angel Food Jello Dish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 angel food cake
    1 large pkg. strawberry Jell-O
    2 bowls (16 oz. each) Cool Whip
    1 can (large) crushed pineapple
Preparation
    Make Jell-O according to directions.
    Add pineapple.
    Let set until thickened (about 1 1/2 hours).
    Tear small chunks off of cake; put in a layer in a large bowl (use glass bowl so layers show).
    Spoon Jell-O over cake.
    Spread Cool Whip over Jell-O.
    Repeat until all is used up, ending with Cool Whip.
    Sprinkle with chopped nuts.
    Let set in refrigerator until firm.
