Baked Bread Pudding With Apples - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 slices bread
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 c. raisins (optional)
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    3/4 c. hot milk
    2 eggs
    1/3 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    2 apples, pared and diced
Preparation
    Toast bread and cut into cubes.
    Put into buttered casserole and cover with hot milk and melted butter.
    Let soak for 20 minutes.
    Beat eggs; add remaining ingredients except brown sugar. Combine with bread and pour brown sugar over the top.
    Bake in a 300\u00b0 oven for 40 minutes.
