Lemon Pineapple Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large lemon jello
    2 c. boiling water
    2 c. diet lemon-lime soda
    2 1/2 c. crushed pineapple, drained
    1 1/2 medium bananas, sliced thin
    1/2 c. whipped topping
Preparation
    Dissolve jello in boiling water.
    Set aside 1/4 cup jello mixture.
    Pour remaining jello in 9 x 9 x 2-inch dish.
    Stir in pineapple.
    Lay banana slices in rows.
    Chill until firm.
    Place the remaining jello and whipped topping in a narrow bowl.
    Beat on high speed 1 minute.
    Set aside in airtight container at room temperature.
    Spread on chilled jello and chill for few minutes.
