Greek Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. bag Great Northern beans
    1 large can tomatoes, cut in pieces
    1 large onion
    olive oil (use your own judgment)
    2 or 3 slices bacon
    3 or 4 stalks celery
    1 large green pepper
Preparation
    Cook beans with bacon and drippings until tender.
    Salt to taste.
    Saute celery, onion and green pepper in olive oil.
    Add this mixture and the tomatoes to beans and let simmer for 1 hour.
