Butterfingers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1 c. light brown sugar
    2 tsp. grated lemon rind
    1 egg
    2 c. flour, sifted
    1/3 c. blanched, chopped almonds
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Grease shallow baking pan, about 8 x 12-inches.
    Cream butter, sugar and lemon rind thoroughly.
    Beat in egg.
    Fold in flour.
    Spread evenly in pan.
    Sprinkle with nuts.
