Ingredients

2 c. vegetable oil
4 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. brown sugar, packed
2 c. granulated sugar
4 c. all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
4 c. corn flakes, coarsely crushed
1 1/2 c. quick oats
12 oz. chocolate chips
1 c. pecans, chopped or any other kind of nuts (optional)
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0. In a very large mixing bowl, combine oil, eggs and vanilla. Add sugar; mix well. In a separate bowl, combine flour, soda and salt. Add to sugar mixture, beating until blended. Stir in corn flakes, oats, chocolate chips and nuts. Drop by tablespoonfuls 3-inches apart onto a lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake until light brown, 9 to 10 minutes. Cool slightly on cookie sheet and remove to wire rack to cool completely. Yield: 9 dozen.
