Date Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. boiling water
1/2 c. dates, cut up
1 1/2 Tbsp. margarine or butter
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 c. chopped nuts
1/2 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. + 2 Tbsp. flour
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 egg
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Pour boiling water over dates, butter and baking soda.
Add flour, sugar, salt and remaining ingredients.
Beat well.
Pour into a greased and floured loaf pan.
Bake for 60 to 70 minutes.
