Microwave Japanese Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1/2 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. cornstarch
    1 lb. round steak, sliced across the grain into 1/4-inch thick strips
    1 Tbsp. sesame oil
    1 garlic clove, minced
    1 large onion, thinly sliced
    1 tsp. chopped fresh ginger
    1 red pepper, cut into thin strips
    1 green pepper, cut into thin strips
Preparation
    Combine the soy sauce, lemon juice, sugar and cornstarch.
    Add the beef strips and marinate for 20 minutes at room temperature. Combine the oil, garlic, onion and ginger in a pie plate and microwave on High for 3 minutes.
    Place the onion in the center of the dish and place the meat around the outside edge of the dish, reserving the marinade.
    Microwave, covered, on High for 3 minutes. Stir the onion and the meat together.
    Add the reserved marinade and the pepper strips.
    Microwave, covered, on High for 3 minutes.
    Serve over rice.
