Caramel Corn - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. packed brown sugar
2 sticks oleo
1 tsp. salt
6 qt. popped corn
1/2 c. light corn syrup
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation

In a 2 1/2-quart saucepan, heat brown sugar, corn syrup, oleo, cream of tartar and salt to boiling to 260\u00b0.
Cook 5 minutes or more.
Remove from heat.
Stir in baking soda thoroughly and pour over popped corn.
Stir gently.
Bake in a preheated oven at 200\u00b0 for 1 hour.
Stir 2 or 3 times.
Put on waxed paper.
