Buttermilk Refrigerator Yeast Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. active dry yeast
    1/3 c. warm water
    6 to 6 1/2 c. plain flour
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. buttermilk
    butter or margarine, melted
Preparation
    Soften yeast in warm water.
    Combine 6 cups of the flour, sugar, salt, baking powder and soda.
    Cut in shortening.
    Stir in softened yeast.
    Add buttermilk; stir until smooth.
    If necessary, stir in enough of the remaining flour to make manageable dough.
    Shape into a ball.
    Place in greased bowl; turn once.
    Cover.
    Refrigerate overnight or as long as five days. Grease baking sheets.
    Shape dough as desired.
    Brush with a little melted butter.
    Let rise in warm place until double (1 to 3 hours).
    Preheat oven to 425\u00b0.
    Bake for 15 to 18 minutes.
    Makes 3 to 4 dozen.
