Beef Stroganoff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. beef tenderloin or sirloin steak
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1/4 to 1/2 lb. mushrooms, sliced
    1 medium onion, minced (about 1/2 c.)
    1 can (10 1/2 oz.) condensed beef broth (bouillon)
    2 Tbsp. catsup
    1 small clove garlic, minced
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1 c. sour cream
    3 to 4 c. cooked noodles or rice
Preparation
    Cut meat 1/2-inch strips about 1 1/2 inches long.
    Melt butter in skillet.
    Add mushrooms and onion; cook and stir until onion is tender then remove from skillet.
    In same skillet cook meat until brown.
    Stir in broth (reserving 1/3 cup) catsup and garlic. Cover; simmer 15 minutes.
