Susan'S Famous Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. strawberry Kool-Aid
    3 1/2 c. sugar
    1 can pineapple juice
    1 gal. water
    lemon juice to taste
    2 (2 liter) bottles ginger ale
Preparation
    Mix Kool-Aid, sugar and water well.
    Add pineapple juice and lemon juice.
    Mix and pour into clean milk jugs.
    (You will need 2 for each making of punch.)
    Place in freezer (do not fill jug completely to allow for expansion).
    Take frozen mixture out of freezer approximately 1 hour before use.
    Cut jug away and place in punch bowl.
    Pour ginger ale over frozen mixture.
    Chop frozen mixture to make a slushy texture.
    Serves approximately 50.
