Never Fail Fruit Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. fruit
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. water
    1 c. self-rising flour
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 stick margarine, melted
Preparation
    In a Pyrex dish, stir fruit, 1 cup sugar and water real good. Then make a batter of flour, 1/2 cup sugar and melted margarine. Mix and pour over fruit or put in the bottom of baking dish and put fruit on top.
    It turns out the same way.
    I put my crust (batter) on top and Bertha puts hers on the bottom.
    Bake for 45 minutes at 375\u00b0.
