Shoney'S Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. water
    6 Tbsp. cornstarch
    strawberry Jell-O
    2 c. fresh strawberries
    baked pie shell
    small carton Cool Whip
Preparation
    Mix sugar, water and cornstarch in saucepan.
    Cook until thick and add 3 tablespoons dry strawberry Jell-O.
    Let cool, then add 2 cups fresh strawberries.
    Pour in baked pie shell and top with Cool Whip.
