Sour Cream Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter
2 1/2 c. sugar
6 eggs, separated
1 c. sour cream
1/2 tsp. soda
3 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. lemon extract
Preparation

Cream together butter and sugar.
Add egg yolks.
In a separate bowl, mix together flour and soda.
Sift 5 times.
To butter and sugar mixture, add alternately sour cream and flour mixture.
Add vanilla and lemon extract.
Whip egg whites until stiff; add 1/2 cup sugar and fold into batter.
Pour into tube pan and bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
