Lima-Pear Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. dried lima beans
    6 large ripe pears, cored, peeled and sliced
    1/4 c. light molasses
    1/4 c. light brown sugar
    1/4 c. chicken broth or stock
    1 tsp. salt
    pepper to taste
Preparation
    Soak limas as directed by package.
    Combine all ingredients in a crock-pot and bake for 8 hours or longer.
    Or use a heavy casserole with a tight fitting lid and bake in 200\u00b0 oven for 8 hours or longer.
    Serves 6 to 8.
