Ham, Potato And Onion Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 Tbsp. ham or bacon drippings or butter
    6 Tbsp. enriched flour
    3 c. milk
    2 tsp. salt
    1/4 lb. Cheddar cheese, grated
    1 pkg. diced, cooked ham
    4 c. cubed, cooked potatoes
    12 small cooked onions
    1/2 c. buttered bread crumbs
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Melt drippings or butter.
    Blend in flour and add milk, stirring constantly.
    Cook mixture until thickened, boiling about 3 minutes.
    Add cooked ham, potatoes and onions.
    Pour mixture into a greased casserole dish.
    Sprinkle with buttered bread crumbs.
    Bake uncovered in a 350\u00b0 oven for 30 to 40 minutes or until crumbs are lightly brown.
