No-Fail Pie Crust - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 c. flour
2 c. shortening
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 egg
Preparation

Combine flour, sugar and salt; mix well.
Cut in shortening and blend until mixture resembles small particles. Break egg into measuring cup and add enough water to measure 1 cup.
Using a fork, mix egg and water well.
Pour slowly over dry ingredients and mix just long enough to form dough.
Do not overmix.
This makes a large amount of pie dough.
