Canned Apple Pie Filling - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. clear jel
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. salt
10 c. water
3 Tbsp. lemon juice
Preparation

Cook all ingredients until thick.
Fill quart jar 1/2 full of sliced apples.
Put some sauce in jar to cover apples.
Fill jar with more apples, then more sauce.
Fill to 1-inch top of jar. Makes 6 to 7 quarts.
