Spanish Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 tsp. vegetable oil
    1 c. long grain rice
    1 to 2 cloves chopped garlic
    chopped yellow onion
    1 small can tomato sauce
    2 c. hot chicken broth or bouillon
    1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    In medium frying pan, over medium heat, add oil. Add rice, stirring occasionally, until lightly browned. add garlic and onion and stir constantly until garlic is brown. Add tomato sauce. Continue to stir 1 minute. Add broth and seasonings.
    Stir well and let cook until half the broth is absorbed. Cover pan, lower heat and let simmer until all liquid is absorbed. This should take 15 to 20 minutes, total.
