Mexican Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. cornmeal
    1 c. flour
    3 eggs
    1/2 tsp. soda
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. buttermilk (more or less)
    1 can creamed corn
    1 c. grated sharp cheese
    1 jalapeno or 1 can chopped peppers
    1/2 c. oil
    2 Tbsp. onion
    1 clove garlic
    1 tsp. sugar or 1 pkg. Sweet 'N Low
Preparation
    Mix cornmeal, flour, eggs, soda, baking powder, salt, creamed corn and oil.
    Mix well; add cheese, pepper, onion, garlic and sugar.
    Add buttermilk until right consistency.
    Pour into hot pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
    For best results bake in iron skillet.
