Shredded Wheat Cakes(Pseftiko Kataifi) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 large shredded wheat squares
    1 c. chopped walnuts
    1/2 c. cream
    2 c. water
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. melted butter or oil
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    3 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
Preparation
    Dip each biscuit in
    boiling
    water,
    using
    a\tslotted spoon to remove and place biscuits in a dish.
    Cover and chill in a refrigerator for 1 hour.
