Gingersnaps - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. ground ginger
    1/2 tsp. allspice
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
    1 1/4 c. dark brown sugar, packed
    3/4 c. butter, softened
    1 large egg
    1/4 c. unsulphured molasses
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 300\u00b0.
    In medium bowl, combine flour, soda, salt, ground ginger, allspice and pepper.
    Mix well and set aside. In large bowl, mix sugar and butter with electric mixer at medium speed.
    Add egg and molasses and beat until light and fluffy.
    Add flour mixture until combined.
    Chill the dough for 1 hour.
