Cheese Cocktail Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. very sharp cheese
    1/2 lb. butter
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. red pepper or less
    2 c. flour
    pecans (halves)
    10x sugar
Preparation
    Mix cheese, butter, salt and red pepper well.
    Add flour; shape into balls, size of marble.
    Flatten; put 1/2 pecan on each. Sprinkle with 10x sugar.
    Bake in oven at 400\u00b0 for 10 minutes. (They may incline to crumble when eaten hot but not so when cool.)
