Rice Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. milk
    1/3 c. rice (Carolina)
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    dash of salt
    1 egg
    cinnamon
Preparation
    Bring milk, salt and rice to a boil, stirring frequently. Lower gas to simmer.
    Cover and cook 1 hour and 15 minutes. After 1 hour and 10 minutes, slowly pour in sugar (stirring, not to stick to pot), egg at room temperature and, finally, the vanilla.
    Bring to boil.
    Remove from heat; sprinkle with cinnamon.
    Chill.
