Sugar Plums - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. dried figs
    1/4 c. white Karo syrup
    1 c. coconut
    1/3 c. chopped candied cherries
    1 (8 oz.) can almond paste
Preparation
    Steam dried figs for 1 hour.
    Combine syrup, coconut, cherries and almond paste; slit figs lengthwise and fill with this combination.
    Roll sugar plums in confectioners sugar.
