Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 c. self-rising flour
1 to 1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. shortening
Crisco
Preparation

Combine ingredients; stir batter until blended.
Sprinkle flour on wax paper.
Pour batter onto flour.
Sprinkle flour over the batter and knead.
Cut out biscuits and place on greased cookie sheet.
Grease top of biscuits with melted Crisco.
Place in oven and bake at 400\u00b0 until golden brown.
Spread butter over top of biscuits while hot.
Ready to serve.
