Feather Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. salt
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 egg, well beaten
    3 Tbsp. melted butter
    2/3 c. milk
Preparation
    Sift dry ingredients together.
    Add egg, butter and enough milk to make a moist, stiff batter.
    Drop by teaspoon into boiling liquid.
    Cover and simmer for 18 minutes.
