Crunchy Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. white Karo syrup
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. crunchy peanut butter
    5 c. Big \"K\" cereal
    1/2 bag chocolate chips
    1/2 bag butterscotch chips
Preparation
    Bring Karo syrup, sugar and butter to a boil and remove from heat.
    Add peanut butter.
    Mix in cereal.
    Stir well and spread in a buttered pan (size of cookie sheet) and press down all around. Melt in a pan over hot water the chocolate chips and butterscotch chips.
    Spread on top of cereal mixture.
    Cut while warm.
