Greek Meat Sauce For Hot Dogs - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
1 onion, chopped fine
2 Tbsp. oil
salt and pepper to taste
1/4 tsp. paprika
2 Tbsp. chili powder
2 tsp. tomato paste
2 to 3 c. water

Preparation

Brown ground beef and onion in oil.
Add salt and pepper, paprika, chili powder, tomato paste and water.
Simmer until meat is well cooked.
Add hot pepper if desired.
The hotter, the better.
Cook hot dogs.
Add mustard or catsup.
Put shredded onion on dog and top with 2 to 3 teaspoons of sauce.
