Ingredients

1 (16 oz.) can sliced or diced beets
2 Tbsp. sugar
2 Tbsp. vinegar
2 tsp. cornstarch
1 Tbsp. margarine
1/3 c. liquid (from drained beets)
Preparation

In a medium saucepan, combine reserved liquid, sugar, vinegar and cornstarch.
Cook and stir until thickened.
Cook and stir 2 minutes more.
Stir in beets and margarine.
Heat through.
