Scrambled Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 eggs, lightly beaten
    4 Tbsp. butter
    1 to 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped (optional)
    1/4 c. onion, chopped
    1 large potato, diced in 3/8-inch squares
    1 Tbsp. water
    salt to taste
    Tabasco to taste
Preparation
    Beat eggs lightly and add water, salt and Tabasco.
    Set aside. Chop onion and garlic; set aside.
    Melt butter in skillet; add cubed potatoes.
    Saute in butter until soft and very lightly brown on edges over medium heat; do not let butter burn.
    Add onion and garlic and let wilt slightly.
    Pour eggs over and scramble. Serves 2 to 3.
