Louisiana Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter
    1 onion, chopped
    1 can water chestnuts, sliced thin
    1 can mushrooms, stems and pieces
    2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 lemon, juiced
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/4 c. soy sauce
    1/2 c. sherry
    1 1/2 c. raw rice
Preparation
    Mix first 4 ingredients.
    Add next 5 ingredients.
    Simmer 1/2 hour.
    Meanwhile, cook rice.
    Combine with the sauce.
    Serve hot.
