Chinese Duck Sauce(Condiment) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. mixed fruit (peeled and chopped - apples, pears, peaches, plums)
    1 c. water
    1/4 c. cider vinegar
    1/4 c. light brown sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt (optional)
    2 or 3 garlic cloves (minced)
    1/2 tsp. dry mustard
Preparation
    Combine everything in a medium sized sauce pan and bring to a boil.
    Turn down heat and simmer uncovered for about 30 minutes or until fruit is very soft.
    Cool thoroughly and then chill.
