Autumn Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 c. chopped onion
    4 c. water
    1 c. cut carrots
    1 c. diced celery
    1 c. cubed potatoes
    2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 bay leaf
    1/8 tsp. basil
    1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes
Preparation
    In large skillet, brown hamburg and drain off fat.
    Cook and stir onions with meat until onions are tender.
    Add all ingredients into a large saucepan; bring to a boil.
    Reduce heat and simmer until vegetables are tender.
    (A variety of vegetables can be added.)
    Great meal with your favorite muffins.
