Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 to 8 average squash, sliced
    1 small onion, chopped
    2 eggs
    salt and pepper to taste
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    1 small can green chilies, chopped
    2 c. grated cheese
    1 pkg. Pepperidge Farm herb seasoned stuffing
Preparation
    Cook squash in enough water to cover until tender; drain.
    Add salt, pepper, margarine, onion, green chilies and beaten eggs. Put in buttered casserole dish, half of the squash, stuffing mix and cheese; repeat layers, ending with cheese.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until cheese cooks through and browns on top.
