Gibson House Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    beans
    1 Tbsp. salt
    2 qt. water
    smoked turkey leg
    ham or ham hocks
Preparation
    Wash beans thoroughly and place in large kettle.
    Cover with water.
    Add 1 tablespoon of salt and soak overnight.
    In morning, drain.
    Add two quarts of water and smoked turkey leg, ham or ham hocks.
    Bring to boil and simmer slowly until beans are done, 3 to 3 1/2 hours.
