Baked French Toast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. corn flakes
    1 egg
    1/2 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    salt
    4 to 5 slices bread, cut diagonally
    2 Tbsp. margarine, melted
    jelly
    maple syrup
    powdered sugar
Preparation
    Measure corn flake crumbs into shallow dish.
    Set aside.
    In a bowl, beat eggs until foamy.
    Stir in a pinch of salt, milk and vanilla.
    Dip bread halves into egg mixture, turning once to coat both sides.
    Do not soak bread in the liquid.
    Coat bread evenly on both sides with corn flake crumbs.
    Place bread in a single layer on well-greased baking sheet.
    Bake in oven at 400\u00b0 for about 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
    Serve with jelly, maple syrup or powdered sugar.
