Rhubarberry Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. strawberries
    1/2 c. water
    1 (6 oz.) frozen rhubarb
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1/8 tsp. ginger
Preparation
    Wash strawberries and remove stems.
    Heat water to boiling in a pan on medium-high heat.
    Add the rhubarb and sugar.
    Reduce heat.
    Simmer for 5 minutes, stirring with fork to break rhubarb apart.
    Remove from heat.
    Stir in strawberries and ginger.
    Serve warm or cold.
