Chocolate Cherry Bars - cooking recipe

1 pkg. devil's food cake mix
1 (21 oz.) can cherry fruit pie filling
1 tsp. almond extract
2 eggs, beaten
1 c. sugar
1/3 c. milk
5 Tbsp. margarine or butter
1 (6 oz.) pkg. (1 c.) semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
Grease and flour 15 x 10 x 1-inch pan or 13 x 9-inch pan.
In large bowl, combine cake mix, pie filling, extract and eggs; stir until well blended.
Pour into greased and floured pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 in 15 x 10-inch pan for 20 to 30 minutes, or in 13 x 9-inch pan for 25 to 30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
